Introduction to Second Language Teaching and Learning

Description

This course will provide an ove1view of second language acquisition theory and pedagogy to build the foundational knowledge and skills of ESOL/Bilingual Education. Teacher candidates will be engaged in teaching demonstrations, planning for teaching, and discussions on language learners in sociocultural context, and language assessment. Ten hours of fieldwork required.
