It provides an overview of principal social work values, codes of ethics, practice and research methods, fields of social work practice, and social welfare policy issues. The course emphasizes the unique experiences of diverse and at-risk population groups facing various social challenges. REQUIRED COURSE FOR SOCIAL WORK MAJORS.
