Description
This course serves an entry course to the Cyber-security program. It will introduce basic terminology in information security, information assurance and related legal and ethical issues. The topics span various cyber-security domains including access control, threats and vulnerabilities, risk management, firewall, intrusion detection and prevention, cryptography, physical and personnel security. The primary goal is to present the fact that the “cyber realm” is very broad and involves many components. This is a new, exciting and developing field which is still evolving.
