Psychology of Crisis

Description

Examination of the theoretical concepts, research results, and specific mechanism for coping with crisis. The course attempts to bring together the points of view of various disciplines in an effort to organize what is known about psychic trauma and its pathological consequences. Such questions as the "typical" reaction to disaster, the factors influencing emotional shock, and the long-term effects of crisis are considered.
