Course Description
The course explores psychosocial factors as they affect occupational engagement through experiential and didactic learning. Theories of communication, group process, and human development guide learning and develop skills for therapeutic interactions. Students will learn about the stages of psychosocial development from infancy through older adulthood and explore how psychiatric and cognitive disorders disrupt occupation. Offered in spring semester only.
