Description
A continuation of MUSI 103Â with an introduction to composing and harmonizing a melody. Seventh chords, secondary dominant function and borrowed chords from the parallel key are introduced. Variations of minor key harmony are explored. Students apply these concepts on the piano with through simple compositions, voice leading exercises and analysis of various styles of music.
