Emergency Care, First Aid/CPR

Description

This course will provide students with essential life-saving skills necessary to act as first responders in emergency situations. First responders evaluate and treat patients, acting as transitional care givers until more advanced medical help arrives. In addition, this course will address psychological and ethical issues related to emergency medical care. Successful completion of this course could lead to CPR/AED and First Aid certification. This course does not provide state licensure for ambulance personnel.
