Description
What is a phoneme? What does the expression "It's only semantics" really mean? How are words formed? What is stylistics? This course will answer these questions, and others, in its study of the structure of the English language. Designed for those considering careers in teaching, writing, research, the legal professions, and computer programming, the course will explore phonetics, grammar, discourse analysis, and semantics, among other features of the language.
