Writing for the Professions

Description

This course will teach students the theory and practice of writing for different professional situations and environments. Students will learn rhetorical principles that undergird professional communication, and they will practice writing valuable genres applicable to many career paths. Because contemporary professional communication is predicated on fluency in digital writing, this course will emphasize the skills and styles necessary for successful online communication. 3 sem hrs. 3 credit hrs.

Prerequisites: ENGL 112 or ENGL/HONR 192.
