Course Description

This course is designed to empower future educators to develop the key skills needed to become effective problem solvers and skilled instructors. It focuses on techniques to implement evidence-based teaching methods in mathematics and science that promote active learning and participation. Participants will apply their skills in real-world settings during clinical placements, providing a practical context for their development. Additionally, candidates will receive comprehensive evaluations of their teaching performance from a University clinical field supervisor throughout their certification process. The seminar addresses standards relevant to CAEP and CEC for licensing beginning teachers. 500 hours of clinical experience required.
