Seminar 1 in Teaching Students with Disabilities B-12

Description

This course is designed to empower future educators to develop the key skills needed to become effective problem solvers and skilled instructors. It focuses on techniques to implement evidence-based teaching methods in English language arts and social studies that promote active learning and participation. Participants will apply their skills in real-world settings during clinical placements, providing a practical context for their development. Additionally, candidates will receive comprehensive evaluations of their teaching performance from a University clinical field supervisor throughout their certification process. The seminar addresses standards relevant to CAEP and CEC for licensing beginning teachers. 500 hours of clinical experience required.
