Planning for Instruction Through Inquiry

Description

This course provides teacher candidates the opportunity to experience and apply inquiry approaches to learning and teaching science for early childhood and childhood education. The constructivist nature of learning will form the basis for instruction using the 5E model for planning. The nature of science, inquiry-based practices, and content related to life, physical. and earth science will be explored. Ten hours of field observation required.
