Assessment for Instructional Improvement

Description

This course examines how, through research-based practices, educators can effectively support all learners to improve teaching and learning. Students will explore and evaluate a variety of assessment types and apply these practices to classroom situations. Emphasis will be placed on assessment for equity, including the use of formative and summative assessment strategies for educational decision-making. Ten hours of fieldwork required.
