Description
This class will serve as a hands-on follow up to the Crime Scene Investigation class, CRJU 255. Students will be asked to conduct practical exercises on how to examine and process crime scenes. These exercises will focus on the recognition, documentation, collection, and preservation of mock evidence, as well as chain of custody responsibilities. Students will be required to prepare a report of a mock crime scene they will process, including what they collected, their rationale for collecting it, and what investigative information they can expect from its analysis by a forensic laboratory.
