Description

This course is an introduction to the graphic techniques and digital tools utilized in crafting 2D and 3D time-based media in the field of motion graphics. Using contemporary industry-standard software such as Cinema 4D and After Effects, students will create visual effects for a range of media applicable across fields - from television news graphics to cinematic title sequences. Topics include utilizing virtual cameras and lighting, basic animation approaches, working between 2D and 3D, and graphic design considerations.
