Web Design I: HTML/CSS

Description

This course focuses on core HTML and CSS skills, which are the underlying components of all websites. After a series of exercises, students will apply these skills in creating contemporary, responsive web sites that are legible across devices (desktop, mobile, tablet). The course also examines using third-party resources to simplify the design process. By the end of the semester, students will be expected to create an original web site, with attention to design fundamentals such as hierarchy, color, and typography.
