Digital Design Toolset

Description

This course is an introduction to a range of key skills and approaches underlying visual communication. Students work on hands-on design exercises utilizing industry-standard design software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, to address basic concepts such as composition, line, pattern, color, texture, layers, and simple animation. This course also examines considerations for various print and screen-based media.
