Course Description
Causes, symptoms, treatments and prevention of abnormal behavior are surveyed. Different theoretical and cultural perspectives are examined, along with the problems of diagnosis and research. Other topics treated include: history of mental illness, ethical and legal problems, and new approaches to therapy.
